About Me: I was born and raised on the Island of Maui, “West Side” Lahaina and Honokowai. As a youngster I learned to sing, dance and be the hostess with the mostess. Moved to Hawai’i Island November 1, 2007, and feel very honored to be embraced by this Mokupuni. I got some college degrees and worked as a Hawaiian Study Teacher with the DOE, a Substance Abuse Counselor, Homeless Shelter Case Manager, and of course Radio, which is my fun job, and I love to perform. Currently I am back to teaching again. Mahalo Ke Akua for all I have and those many opportunities given every day.

Alma Mater: Baldwin High Bears – Wailuku, Maui Class of 1987

Favorite Artist: I love all music genres, reggae and blues, country along with oldies but goodies, such as Connie Frances to Aretha Franklin. My hear is with Hawaiian music.

Favorite Book: I love books with suspenseful actions.

Favorite Movie: There is no “one” favorite movie, I like movies that make me feel “something” (happy, sad, joy, angry). But, I guess if I had to pick, Aunty Mame and The Color Purple, I also like action movies!!

Things I like to do when not at the radio station: BEACH! Yessah. Arts and crafts. I love to make “music”, playing such instruments as ukulele, bass or piano.

Favorite color: My favorite color is ‘oma’oma’o (green)
