About Me: I am a humble Tita just trying to live a pono life with my crazy family! I love being a part of the KAPA Ohana and bringing love, laughter and ono music to our listeners all the while staying true to myself by always being “Humble & Kind”
Birthday: February 23, 1968
Alma Mater: Honoka’a High & Intermediate Class of 1986! Yessah! D4L (Dragon’s for Life)
Favorite Artist: Where do I start? I love all genres of music but my heart beats to the rhythm of our local Hawaiian Music both traditional & contemporary. My feet & the rest of my nui-ness live for katchi-katchi music… It’s the music of my soul. Puerto Rican’s in the house… Weepah!
Favorite Book: I am a book worm and love all types of books. But, I love me a good historical romance. (Hey don’t judge a Tita by what she reads!)
Favorite Movie: The Bridges of Madison County! There I said it! It was the first time I read a book before I watched the movie and it blew my mind that I knew all significant details behind the items in the movie. (Again, don’t judge a Tita by the movie she loves!… Tita’s have a mushy side too!)
Favorite Color: I love all the colors of the rainbow! Why pick just one?
Things I like to do when not at the radio station: Spending time in my piece of Heaven on Earth (Waip’io Valley). I love working on our kalo farm and taking care of the aina that has been in my husbands ohana for decades. I love my hubby, kids and mo’opuna, spending time with them is precious. (Even when they drive me nuts! LOL!) Oh wait! How could I forget the thing I do most and love every second of it is COOKING! I love to cook!
