About Me: I was born and raised in Hilo. I first discovered my interest in radio back in middle school, thanks to a career Kokua questionnaire that listed TV/radio as a possible path. That spark grew stronger in my senior year at Waiakea High, where a video production class taught me the value of journalism and media. I got my foot in the door at KAPA through conversations with KBIG’s Carol O’Connor while working at Wiki Wiki Video. I am on the Aloha Morning Wake-Up Ohana show and the News Guy. Which is fitting since I love to be informed and pass that information on!
